Refurbishment

Tralee, Co. Kerry

The eircom exchange building is located in Tralee, Co. Kerry.  The building is 5,300m2 over 3 floors.  The work involved a total refurbishment of the third floor.

As the building remained live throughout the project, a detailed logistics plan was implemented to get material to the third floor without disruption to Eircom’s day to day running.  There were weekly site co-ordination meetings with the design team and Eircom’s representatives.

This allowed for planning of site activities for eircom management to be familiar with upcoming works.  All excessively noisy work was completed outside of office hours.
